Situated within minutes from Sandton, the Wanderers club is a beautiful century old club offering a wide range of excellent sporting facilities. Soccer had until 2010 been absent at the Wanderers club for over a decade. The Wanderers club recognized the fact that soccer is South Africa’s most popular participation sport, and that in keeping with the club’s traditions, a club of Wanderers’ stature should have a thriving soccer section. The construction of the state of the art Discovery Soccer Park at the Wanderers Club was part of the strategy adopted by the Wanderers club to achieve this end.
